Re: Necessary Gauges for Supercharger? (CPR)
I currently have no gauges set up on my JRSC'd Civic, but I do want to install a boost gauge( which I have sitting in my garage just staring at me), water temp and maybe a 3rd gauge....
I would probably just recommend a boost gauge.

99% of hondas have a water temperature gauge
If you get an oil pressure gauge, you'll eliminate the computer doing your work. Unless you have vtec, it may be real late when the computer tells you that your oil pressure is low.
If you have VTEC, your check engine light usually comes on and tell you that it's not getting enough oil

Have you seen how inaccurate the water temp gauges are on the gauge clusters?? On my Hondata with my laptop hooked up, I can see variances of 20 to 50 degrees in water temp while the needle on the water temp gauge stays the same.... Maybe you don't need to know the difference, but I do.
