Default neccesary to O-ring the sleeves ?

i am putting together a fully built ITR motor for turbo . i had the block sleeved by GE but it wasnt o-ringed . is it neccesary ? i plan on boosting around 25lbs , would not having it o-ringed cause me to blow a headgasket ? any help would be appreciated . thanks

It's a good idea, however there are many people running those boost levels without any problems on stock headgaskets.

Can you still use a OEM head gasket with a O-ringed block?

Yes, and this setup is even recomended.

just a warning though that orings can be a bit difficult to get to seal, but when they do seal they are great.
