Icon2 NA to mild Fi; so many questions....

Ok, so here is the story as clear and detailed as I can put it:

I own a '97 Civic CX. 2 years ago, after many overtime hours, I bought and installed a JDM b16a OBD1 in it.

Today, after many more overtime hours and a substantial raise, I'm ready for a turbo... But I know ***k all about t-charging...

That being said, don't get to exited; I'm more concern about reliability than crazy hp numbers. So I thought about rebuilding the engine (just "polishing", no big bore deal) and (since I don't know ***k all about t-charging) get a Greddy bolt-on turbo (part no; 11550021A... just in case...)... That's where the questions popped-up;

1. Can I use OEM gaskets, seals, rings, t-belt, etc... to re-built a JDM b16a????

2. (Since I have send 2 e-mails to Greddy in 3 weeks w/o any answers) Can I install the aforementioned turbo kit on a JDM engine w/o destroying anything????

3. TD04H-15G 8cm² @ 5psi +/- = ???? HP

Your help is more than welcome.

for most of your questions check out the faq: https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/%2A%2A%2Aforced-induction-forum-faq%2A%2A%2A-1024174/

Do a compression test before you go about rebuilding the motor. The Stock b16 is fine if your not looking for too much over 300 on pump gas.

I've been running a stock block b16 for over 2 years turboed. the swap was in the car 5 years before I turboed it. Running strong at 305hp @ 10psi.

Do a little research on here. You will be alot more happy in the long run if you peice together a kit yourself with high quality parts. The greddy kit is fine but there is better out there.

Cool, lots of info in there. Thanks.

I haven't run a compression test yet. The main reason why I want to rebuilt is because the engine started to burn oil lately. I'm afraid the extra boost will kill it.
