Unfortunately 2014 was not my best outing. I had some issues with mixing up valve train components and not having sufficient retainer to valve seal clearance, something I had previously taken for granted.
After a successful dyno I was unable to maintain consistent AFR...
First I blamed the FPR but ended up being more fuel pump related. After sending back my Fuelab Regulator to be rebuilt (which they did free of charge) I purchased a Walbro F90000267 at the suggestion of D-Rob and my AFR's were able to maintain safe levels.
Thanks Buddie!!
Due to scheduling I was only able to make a single track day after fixing my fueling issues. Car Should ET better if I dial back the boost in lower gears to decrease the spinning, and shift a bit quicker...
Best ET
Warm-Up
Slow Rowing like a ****

10's which are the the old 11's that were the old 12's everyday streetcar stuff.
This is a true street car, adding the necessary parts to safely go 9's is out of my interest. Honestly is not safe as is the only reasons I have are shitty excuses. I'm at a crossroads, jump in deeper or get out and start something new.

Happy I can help, my friend!
I say you throw a bigger turbo on that thing, throw some big tires on it, and come roll racing a couple times a year with me. It's a bunch of fun, the parts breakages are fewer, and you get to light the internet on fire when you beat supercharged Corvettes, some GTR's, and other big-power performance platforms.

I managed a whole 1200 miles before I parked it until spring, contemplating my next move. I'm so deeply into this it's almost too much to get out and start anything over again. I even went as far as to make a part out list but never quite had the ***** to post it for sale, sad fact is even if I parted it out I would be thousands of dollars behind the ball to start anything else.
If I recall the plugs are gapped to 0.020"

Solid results for sure. I like Derek's idea, of the roll racing. This thing would be a st00pid hwy killer for sure..
Alot to think about if you dont feel like putting a cage and what not in it..

Instead of part out, trade it for another project. Alot of people are in the same shoes as you with perfectly fun project cars/toys for trade that know how many thousands they have in there cars aswell and would straight up trade for your complete well working turbo Honda theyve never had the pleasure of owning before.

Yea I'm amazed he hasn't been booted from a track forlack of safety equipment. They don't play aroundat tracks here. My neighbor had an 800hp grand national with a 6pt cage, scatter shield, harness, etc but no chute. One night his ETs were so fast he had to let off half track to stay over. Eventually he got bored and the first run was warned, second was the boot.
I don't remember the exact limits for which type of safety gear and license but it's no joke.

congrats
I completely understand the dilemma/crossroads your facing.
Rather than trying to go faster in drag racing, you could just make slight pivot and try road racing as well. Turn down the power to 400whp and have a blast. You can spend more on other parts of the car to make it faster & yet still keep it street friendly.

Road racing/autocross is awesome. If you wanna go faster, you have to learn how to drive faster. You cant just buy faster parts and expect to lap better times.
400hp, boost, and a killer suspension/brake combo is more fun.

Skip the chutes, and give me a road course. I'll just use the track for my cooldown/slowdown

Re: NA goes 10's Now What?
Working on it, LOL.
I had some friends who wanted some parts, the car still runs on some POS DC header I got for free.
I've lost all of my drive to continue on down this road, the most fun I've had with this car was with a simple B20 M62, more , more , more got me where I am at now. I miss the days of bending sheet metal in my drive way at the hopes of building a semi functional cold air box. Today kids think if you don't have the latest greatest it's not worth bothering, everyone is afraid to come in second place.
Honda-Tech has too much second hand knowledge that gets passed for gospel, the guys who were willing to help the growth have been pushed out by those who look to profit from it. That being said I completely understand the need for a business to stay in business, there is plenty of money to be made on quality products that work rather than mislead.
