Default My Turbo Setup - 14b, 11psi, on stock rebuilt f22

Hello all, im kinda new here. I started this project about 2 months ago, and its still going. Its taking long cus of fund reasons and basically im working alone. Here is what parts im using and as it sits now.

Before the Teardown:


F22A6 Freshly Rebuilt Head


Stealthmode Oil Line Kit


Custom Grounding


Exhaust Off


Ebay Intercooler


5spd Tranny:

The setup looks pretty good I would get a larger turbo though. You have a decent amount of displacement and that turbo will run out of breath. My friend ran an evoIII 16g turbo on his f22 and it had a great powerband for a moderate power setup. Full boost kicked in very early so lag was no issue.

yea thats whats next in line. right now im out of money, next year spring, ill drop in a b16g

i think i may do a f22 after im done with my b16 except do the b tranny swap..

14b seems more suited to a D-series to me...

yeah, a 14b is even small for a d-series depending on your goals, i think an 18g or a 20g turbo would be a good match for flow/spool.

did you have any issues putting on the dsm manifold for the 14b? i'm probably doing a very similar setup. did u use a 1g dsm manifold or a 2g? i'm guessing 1g.

14b isn't suited to anything, but a go kart
