My setup..how much psi you think i can push?!?
Ok..here's what I got to rebuild my motor with
What I have now:
B18C1 motor (gsr)
Fmax turbo (ditching the mf2 and extra injector tho.)
Weapon R fuel regulator
Apexi VAFC (just gonna use it for gauge since I'm going hondata)
Apexi AVCR
What I bought:
JE 9:1 .02 overbore pistons
RC 550 Injector w/ clips
Eagle Rods
AEM Fuel Rail
Built GSR Head (port and polish..etc)
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Hondata 2b
Steve (SGT) is going to tune Hondata for me and how much PSI you think I can boost w/ this setup? is 18 pushing it?!?

You'll lean out at at 18psi, get 720cc injectors if you want that. 18psi on stock sleeves is not a good idea... but go ahead and try

dont ya think that's a little overkill for 11's? hehe

Tomakit & Dustin are right - ~15 psi is about all the stock cylinder sleeves can handle. The rest of you setup looks good, though. If you have to take the motor to a machine shop for the P&P anyway, you might as well have them resleeve it while its there. You would have to anyway if you run 18 psi and your sleeves start to crack.
Good luck.
Good luck.

That is NICE immortal!
Good thing this question was asked, I was wonder what the stock sleeves could handle.

Stock sleeves can take a whole lot if you don't do any agressive tuning. I've seen them hold together on motors that run 25psi all the time (with blockguard). As long as the motor is healthy and your fuel and timing maps aren't crazy, you'll be fine.

If you are gonna do a blockguard, you might as well just sleeve the bitch while its out...
c'mon, you know you want to...
15, bahhh, you need you some 20+psi...
(do it, do it, do it) hehe

shhhh....don't tempt me
Well, the problem I have w/ sleeving is that I have to send my block out and blah blah blah...it takes too long and I want my car to be on the roda SOON! Hehe..I might just get me another b18c5 motora nd build that one up and just swap it once that one is done

Re: My setup..how much psi you think i can push?!? (Tomakit)
you can run whatever you want PSI wise, but if you lean out once at high PSI its all over for the cylinders, I have run well tuned LS blocks with rods and pitons but stock block at 24 PSI, DFI tuned and very carefully. Cylinder pressure does not increase linear when making power, like pressure will not go from 1000 to 2000psi just from double the boost, this will only happen when you knock or from preignition, try to get spark lightoff at 12 degrees after TDC this will help prevent the rods going straight down onto the crank which will givw you crazy high cyl pressure.
