Default My old b18a pistons...analyse them!

Those were running with a 50 shot of nitrous. I havent seen them in real, my friend did rip appart the block and he sent me those pix. So what do you think?

umm...looks like they were burning fuel and air inside of an internal combustion engine...what exactly are you looking for in responses???

Thats what it looks like to me as well. I don't see any melting or distortion just alot of carbon buildup. If your question is "are my pistons fuc*ed" the answer is "no".

Ya i see a lot of carbon too. But those are old pistons, about 120,000 miles of hard driving + nitrous. The thing is that i have a new engine and just wanted to have opinions on detonations. Cause obvioulsy, i don't want to mess up the new engine and i didn't spray yet on the new one.

how does the combustion camber look, any abnormal signs there or on the valves?!

The head is gone, i didn't have the chance to have a look at it. And the guy i sold the block, ripped it appart yesterday and he sent me the pix. I don't know really much more, i only have those pix sorry.
