Default My new turbo setup in my EF (lots-o-pics)

All on a b16a2 stock internals........more listed after all the pics
new turbo and mani on the floor- Garrett t3/t04e .48 ex, 60a/r, 57 trim turbine, stage 3 compressor wheel

new intercooler from TJN115(ebay) mounted on my car- lots of cutting

jimfab front x-member installed - not yet tightened down or adjusted


oil return - earls fittings -10 AN

new place for my overflow tank w/2000 civic radiator

lower bracket for my radiator

overflow tank and lower radiator brackets

oil filter relocation

top pics of eveything


I have 3" stainless exhaust on the way. I have 2.5" mandrel bent charge pipes sitting here ready to be cut, fitted, welded together, and put on. Other parts include
zdyne gold secu
450cc injectors
blockguard
3mm blitz head gasket - may be coming off and getting a thinner - maybe 1mm or 2mm
aluminum retainers + stronger dual valve springs
stock cams
aluminum flywheel
driveshaftshop stage 4 axles
6 puck sprung hub clutch disk with 80% over stock pressure plate
ys1 tranny-----soon to get lsd when I get the money
apex avc-r boost controller
apex dual chamber bov
tial 35mm wastegate
thats all I can think of right now.......

Sure...why not? It has a slight dip in it, but as oil flows down, it will still drain just fine down into the pan as the weight of the draining oil pushes the oil through it. Gravity still draws it down. Just like your kitchen sink drain......

Looks good man ....but I would get a 45 deg fitting for the oil return off the turbo, and shorten up the line, you will have a much better drain path then.

It is a 45 degree......both off the turbo and off the pan

uhhh....because the stuff draining in your kitchen sink is water and not oil at 600 degrees haha

plus the 180 bend in the sink is designed to hold water so the sewage gases don't go past it and into the house and smell **** up.

as for your little "gravity pool" in the return line...oil at 600+ degrees tends to coke up over time as it cools off (even full synthetic oil)...and even worse so when run in high boost applications...

you honestly do need to get that low spot out of that line man.

your oil return will work just fine, this is coming from experience, not just from behind a computer. Your setup looks nice, what manifold is that, looks like a full-race. lookin good!
