c) can't get the internal wg housing off the turbine housing. its got some kind of blue gasket maker, and i can't pry it apart! any suggestions?

d) compressor housing is only held on by one 3-bolt bracket, not two. is this ok? should i get another one? where?

That ring is not a fire ring, it seats the wastegate, install it with the ridge facing up into the wastegate. It will not sit flush but will once you bolt it down. It seats the wastegate and prevants it from leaking.

Yes there are different sizes on the turbos, there is the Ford 5 Bolt turbine side which is the smaller, and the Mercedes 5 Bolt (the one you have) which is bigger I carry both Flanges laser cut.

C) take off the exhaust housing, and try baking it in the oven if it is a silicone based sealer.

D) Yes you definitely need the other bracket thing. You can get one from http://www.majesticturbo.com

well i figure if the blue stuff will hold up under 1600* heat then a 500* oven isn't going to do a whole lot to soften it up. any other ideas?

for your blue gasket stuff, try slicing a Razor blade between the housing and the blower, that should work prety nice, if the stuff is too tough then I don't know.
for shure I know this trick worik with Mr. Gasket Orange Gasket maker, but I don't know this blue stuff.

hope this Help
