my new turbo has arrived!!
well finally today it arrived from Japan.. my new turbo!
this is the new version of the IHI RHF5, ball-bearing, on the box it says "high-flow version" (?!)
anyway.. my mechanic has calculated the compressor maps of this turbo with my engine, and thinks if we get it tuned right.. it'll probably hit 280HP+ at the wheels.. true or not, I don't know.. but i guess i'll find out. anyway here's some pics
gonna be at the shop all day today waiting for the thing to be installed.. still can't kick the car though coz i need to get my ECU guy to come and re-tune my ECU.. anyway, will let u know how things go..

Nathan, that thing looks powerful just sitting there!!! Good luck and I hope it dynos high for you!!! 280+HP at the wheels would be so RIGHT!!!!!!!

here's some specs... my model is the "RHF5 ballbearing" - and this turbo was recommended to me over the Garrett GT30 (mechanic said that the Garrett is heavy and has very poor spool-up times), so it must be good..
you can check the dimensions of my turbo by looking at that "A B C D E" thingy on the chart, and comparing with the diagram of the turbo underneath it..
