My New ERL Set up !!!
Just got my Block back from ERL and wow what a nice team to work with A+++
Here are a few pics, I will post more when we start the build.

We are shooting for 600hp, with CP Pistons, Pauter Rods and lots of other goodies. We also just got our Eldebrock IM in today as well as the head back from being work completely over, port/polist and all the other main things needed like SK2 valves, Ti-Retainers, Crower Turbo Cams Etc.

Haha mine doesnt look that good or clean but i cheated!!!
But my piston and rods were super clean!

I did take mine direct to Sean at ERL. They did all the cleaning in the tank and coating(Not some Wal Mart special paint).

Hot tanking the block does not re-new the aluminum finish. The only way to clean it is either by paint, which you can tell is what ERL did or media blasting. Most of the time we never paint a block because it sticks out like a sore thumb in coloration compared to the transmission. We did however have to paint a few blocks that were real bad. If this look is desired, a 5 dollar can of spray paint from Dupli-Color called "cast aluminum" can be bought at a local hardware store and will save you many bucks extra that using ERL for sleeves would cost.
