my JDM b20b is in......now some beginner questions
i recently put the b20b into my 90 LS, and i had every intention of going NA with plans to swap the b16 head on there next year. i already have a complete b16 just waiting to go on. i was planning full skunk2 valvetrain with crower rods and somewhere around 12.5:1 cr with some JE pistons. anyway, for some reason i dont want to do this anymore and im going to sell the b16 stuff and go FI. its going to be a junkyard boost operation and im hoping to use a volvo intercooler in the battery location and do all custom piping (other than the manifold). my intentions are not to boost more than 5-6 psi, but i am going to build the block anyway b/c i know i will get greedy. the stock block will handle low boost no problem but crower rods, JE pistons, and pin the block will give me some room to go higher. now i know the tolerances of the blocks under NA loads, but how much boost COULD that handle? another this is that i want it to spool up as fast as i can get while still retaining some traction, (heres the noob question) which turbo will give me the fastest spool and still have the ablility to increase the psi if i ever want more. i was told that 5-6 psi will put me somewhere in the 220 whp range, and thats all i want right now. this should be good enough for high 13's/ low 14s i hope
that should be enough info to give me some idea of what i should go out and look for, and im hoping you guys can give me some suggestions on other parts that i will need (injectors, fuel management, etc). i guess all im saying is that i want the setup to be very adjustable and give me a lot of options

I am not sure that 5-6 psi will make that much power, its hard to say. Your stock block will not have any issues holding 8-10 psi.
Buy my Hondata setup and you can make more that 220 easy. Shameless plug for my cause, I am sorry. But I would have given the same advice even if I was not selling my stuff.
