Is my head gasket blown? need yo opinion!
hey guys. ive been turbo for a week and i think i may have blown my headgasket.
My radiator cap blew off when i was boosted at only 5lbs on a d16z6. is that an accurate assumption. my car still feels strong and doesn't blow any smoke. i know the cap was on tight.
i was thinking of getting a thicker headgasket and arp head studs. what's a good price for that stuff.

i dont know how its possible for a radiator cap to "blow off"..if it did it would have to bed the **** out the the cap or break the radiator where it locks in place.
anyways, if there isnt any signs of a blow HG besides your radiator cap "blowing off" then why are you assuming that you need a new one...if you are worried about it do a compression check and see what happens
