My gsr turbo set up questions
Car:93 civic hatchback
Motor:B18c1
Parts: msd 6al with external coil,JE 9:1 compression pistons,GReddy BL turbo back exhaust, One of those SSautochrome turbos,manifold,40mm wastegate and down pipe,Another ebay kit of a Greddy style Blowoff valve 32x12x3 intercooler,2.5 inch piping,Vortech FMU Walbro 255 fuel pump,10.3mm sparkplug wires and 205/40/R16 BF Goodrich G force sports. The car is also untuned @10psi of boost.
Sometimes at 6-8,000 rpms is hesitates..what might cause this?
It also misses at those points could this really be lack of fuel? because the A/F guage reads rich.
Also I raced it at the track this weekend and did a 13.7 @110mph with a 2.3 60ft...What can u tell me about these times if I were to get Drag radials or slicks?
I know the car should be running faster but I dont know if its just losing that much traction..I guess this is the new feeling of a boosted car but idk.
And whats an affordable thing to tune my car.Keep in mind I'm 17 have 2 jobs and a lot of bills.
Wells let me know people.I know A lot of people dont like the SSautochrome stuff.BUt it seems to be working fine at the moment.I only wanted boost at a low cost and plan to gt35R the car when i can afford it.
Also the turbo outlet is so small that i need to buy a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch adapter to put inbetween the piping and turbo...keeps sliding off how can i prevent this?Or where can i get small adpater couplers ?cause home depot just aint cutting it..And yes i am a noob sorry. what can I say I've got questiong ..You've got answers so let me hear um!

cheap - reliable - fast.
pick 2 you only get 2.
ditch the afr gauge and get a wideband, ditch the fmu and get atleast a chipped ecu. your af gauge is a narrowband and can only tell you if you are righ or lean, not how far righ or lean you are. where is your timming? did you retard it 2 degrees?
oh yeah, read search and learn, then read some more.
