supercharger- belt driven off of the crank
turbo- exhaust driven.

supers are great for big displacement engines that can sacrifice the loss from parasitic draw. being a relatively small displacement engine, the turbo is the way to go.

it is like this from the first page maximum boost from corky bell:

""the power enhancing capability of the turbo charger has been most thoroughly demonstrated by the grand prix racing cars of the 1977-88 era of formula 1

the comparison of a top fuel dragster with that of a formula 1 race car will establish the turbo's credentials. current output of top fuel cars with a 500 cid engine is suggested to be 5-6000 horse power. which calculates to be about 10 hp per cubic inch. these numbers are not favorable compared to the 1300-1400 hp 90 cubic inch qualifying engines for the 1987 formula 1 cars. these outputs represent 14-15 hp per cubic inch.""

just search gsr in f/i. there'll be tons. here's the gsr thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1501150

there is a difference between supercharge and turbo. it all depends how far you wanna go and probably how serious you are. cost wise, i would say SC is 900-1200, turbo is 1500-2500 depending on the kit and whether or not you buy new/used.

Exactly, turbo is the way to go, but I have had great luck with my SC. I've been running 12lbs now for about 10,000 mile on a stock gsr and no problems(pissed my boss off by smokin his *** in his 04 z06). Again, it all depends on what kind of power you want.

yea i am not sure .. i was looking into superchargers and i couldnt find much info on it.. i would want my car to run like maybe 12's ...high 12s low 12s.. doesnt really matter and also since my car is stock i was just wondering which would be safer or which would be more reliable... the internals are basically stock and ive heard people runnign 12's no problem with like 250hp around... so i was just weighing out my options.... and i think going force induction is alot cheaper then all motor... so yea like i said what do u guys reconmmend and what do i need for my car to run around 12's..iwas hoping tosee some supercharger setups...
