my car isnt dead any more-pic
after sitting in the garage with a dead turbo and a broken ring land in the #3 cylinder since driving to the east coast after the niagra crx meet, my 90 hatchback lives again! last night i got it all back together again with a seemingly fresh d16a6 (thanks sean/levi from otsego) and a brand new turbo from CCA. brand new turbo's are the only way i'm gonna do the turbo thing from now on......i've gone through 4 bad junkyard turbo's before i broke down and bought this one, what a waste of time.
anyways, i had a lot of fun in it last night, boosting about 8 psi......it was breaking tires loose in 3rd gear at 50 degrees F, azenis's. i'm really excited, just to drive it again.

sorry about the pic, i know nothing about computers. the ITB zc kept blowing head gaskets, then i did a couple turbo kits for people, and got bit by the bug. yeah, i;m pretty sure the clutch isnt slipping, but now you got me wondering. its a great clutch, a CM stage 2, w/ a lightweight flywheel. i'll try and fix the pic.
- i just put up the link for the pic, i cant get it to show up here. i wish i had a pic of the engine....

Yea, its damn clean!
Your hood doesn't fit right
BTW, only reason I said it because you said you were running 8psi, on (im guessing) a semi small turbo, with a d16, and your breaking the tires loose in 3rd gear?
I'm making 263 whp, and my tires (16" volk te37 wrapped in toyo proxies) spin a little through 2nd, but deff. grip in third. I also have a teg chassis, which is considerbly heavier, but I don't know if it makes THAT much of a difference with wheel spin.

well, the car is completely gutted, and the falkens werent warm at all.....and it was when i downshifted into second, so it hit HARD. .... i have taken a lot of steps to lighten the car, so it didnt surprise me at all. it just blew me away how much faster it was than the mpfi d15 i had in it before (later found out that motor had the broken ring land). btw, the hood doesnt fit right for a reason, to let some cold air in. that shot was from a track day/lapping event/honda meet....i was raping the crap out of the turbo d15.
