My car is finally finished!!!
Well after three long months of waiting, my car is finally finished. I decided back in later April, early May that my t3/t4oe .48a/r exhaust wasnt cutting for me anymore so i decided to go with a 60-1 t3 w/.63a/r. After a few set backs, and many modifications to my car besides the turbo i am finally finished. The list of upgrades includes:
1. Auto Power 4 pt roll bar
2. Fastbrakes 11.5" 4 piston Wilwood front (braides lines)
3. Fastbrakes 11.5" big brake kit rear (braided lines)
4. Profec b
5. garret 60-1 t3 w/.63a/r
6. 3" dp
7. 3" thermal exhaust
8. open dumptube
My main reason for taking so long was waiting for the turbo, since its seems to be a hard size to obtain. I was having issues with my Haltech for sometime now running 720cc injectors, and with the help of Austrian Type-R I used his base maps today that used batch firing to get my finally back up and running. I have a glitch when using multipoint injection with my 720cc injectors, which i could never really figure out. After some widebanding on backroads this afternoon I have a respectable map that i can say works well by the butt dyno.
For those of you that followed the 60-1 t3 thread that was started awhile back, the main question that was repeatively asked was how the turbo would spool up on b16a's. I have my stock b16a back in my hatch running this turbo, I get spool up at 3500rpm, and full boost by 4200rpm in 2nd gear. In 4th and 5th gear I get full boost by 3500rpm. The turbo is simply amazing right now, feels way better at 4psi than my t3/t4oe did. I am working my way up through the boost till i hit 10psi on pump gas, 14psi at the track on race gas. Going to hit up Island Dragway on friday night, so if any fellow honda-tech members are going to be there give a yell. I am so happy you guys...finally boosted again. I swear i had boost withdrawl.

Good to hear. I can't wait to finally post that my car us "finished". But that will be some time
Question... You said you reach full boost by 4200. What is your full boost setting?

Re: My car is finally finished!!! (FFgeoff)
Thanks guys, I am so glad that i finally got this haltech problem resolved. I just dont understand why multipoint setting wouldnt work with a damn...oh well batch firing works but less gas mileage.
My boost is set right now at 4.5psi give or take .2psi since it flutuates a bit with the 3bar map sensor reading on haltech. I expect probably faster boost when i crank it up to 10 by the end of the week. I know the turbo would spool that much faster if i had my boost controller on, but for now i am keeping it safe and trying to work out my timing maps for 7000, 7500 and 8000 rpm...car doesnt pull as hard up top which is most def. timing issues. Off tonight to do some more wideband tuning, I will get those pics up very very soon.
