Looks funnier w/o caption - snowing on May 4th!
Any other info, or do we have to search for it?

It was snowin a blowin so hard i just wanted to get inside!
Some details incase your curious...
GSR block, CTR head, GSR cams. ARP head studs. Stock otherwise..
JG or Blox IM, STR 70mm TB, RC 750's, Aeromotive FPR
T3.T4 turbo, Ramhorn mani, 38mm gate, 50mm bov, 3" dp+exhaust
Fullrace traction bars, 92 civic half rad, Precision IC, 2.5" Chargepiping...
Wideband... Undecided on brand, Boost, EGT, Datalogging with Cromepro.
Other details.. gm3bar, hondata IM gasket, oil press, wtaer temp.. Etc.
Hoping for something around the 300whp mark.
What would you all recommend..? Blox Intake manifold or JG for my setup? Blox would save me some cash though, blox any good for turbo?
If the comment on the garage was towards me, i have a very large shop about 50 ft infront of the car. thats where the work will be done. I dont work in the cold!
Thanks!!

Why so? do you think that the small precision unit wont support my 300whp goal?
This will be my setup for next year, after that i will be upgrading internals, FMIC, and turbo and shooting for 400 depending on how this setup treats me!
yes working in the cold is very large, lucky i have a very large heated shop (wood stove), so my fingers will stay intack

Re: (HamiltonRex)
plenty of people make decent to big numbers on a stock throttle body, if u need a larger one i would contact maxbore and have mine rebored. Its not a bad thing, imo the money could be spend else where like a larger intercooler. If you wanna upgrade later think ahead now, you would out grow the intercooler way before you outgrow you tbody.

Re: (Boosted Chemist)
Yeah.. Thing is i have a stock 1st gen b16 one.. 58mm.
If you think ill be okay then ill stick with that, as i have no prior experience. Ill spend the extra cash on tuning.
Ther intercooler on the other hand, i already bought new. So ill use it for now.

yeah or send it to maxbore for a 100 bucks, i made 265 whp on a mustang dyno. This was a stock b16a1 with a first gen t body, so i know you will make your mark. After you get teh bug and 300whp is slow you want 500 next, espcally if you rebuild. Thats why i think you should get a larger intercooler but its your car and money and not mine lol.
How does that manifold clear on a crx? any pic of it on the car?

Re: (Boosted Chemist)
No no pics, no test fit yet..
It should clear the hood fine, the guy who makes it knows his ****! SillySohc. I know I may have to modify the upper rad support to run the WG where it is now..
Its gonna be tight but ill make it work!
Edit. Also if you look at the fullrace mani, which fits fine. You will notice mine places the turbo a bit lower, and the runners sit lower then the full race ones!
See pic here
http://www.full-race.com/catal...d.jpg
The turbo t3 flange sits higher to the bottom of the head flange then mine.. so the runners must be higher.. Or the same.
And it looks like i will be fine with block clearance!

Re: My Boosted CRX buildup! Lots of pics. (HamiltonRex)
Ok..
Update.
Car was in the garage yesterday, got it up on stands. Old exhaust off, crossmember etc. Fit the manifold (fits good) and turbo and wastegate. All fits OK..
Tommorow, i plan to bolt up my crossmember, and fit half rad.. Then i will start fabbing up the 3" downpipe, along with installing the 3" exhaust setup
Ill post a bunch of pics up tomorow
