I had the kit and the gauges put in by someone else. Oh the gauge isn't reading vac. The mechanic screwed me. he did a half *** job. Where do I hook up the vac?? how do I found out how I am getting to much air? I looked for leaks and found nothing.

im not 100% possitive but i think from da boost guage mines connects power. and then the clear hose is thru vacumm which reads boost and wen ders no boost vacumm reads. i dnt think ders 2 different connections. correct me if im wrong

problems aside, it's not uncommon for boost gauges to be off 2-3 psi.

Maybe the wastegate actuator arm has been modified giving you more boost. Not uncommon at all.

English isnt my first language and I dont talk like a moron.

As for the boost reading too high, I bet its reading the boost just fine. If its not reading vacuum it can be installed before the throttle plate, therefor it wont read vacuum, only boost.
