<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
from helms manual:

b18b rods 23 lb-ft / clearance specs .0008 - .0015 (.0020 service limit)
b18c rods 33 lb-ft / .0013 - .0020 (.0024 service limit)

b18b mains all 56 lb-ft

b18c 1, 5 caps are 56 lb-ft
b18c 2,3,4 caps are 49 lb-ft
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I would say your clearances are on spot.

Are you using plastiguage? and did you have the crank checked before you ordered your bearings?. you should at the min. have your crank checked and cleaned at your local machine shop before doing a build that way you know weather or not to order under sized breaings!!!!
