my b20 vtec dyno day
so after finally upgrading injectors from 440 to 750 i finally decided to take my car to get tuned. i had a hondata s300 installed/tuned. We were only able to test it at 6 lbs of boost as i had no boost controller available and this is what it made. car runs real smooth now and less rich than it did before so im much happier. this is what i got
b20b block
stock sleeves
je 9.0:1 pistons
eagle rods
b18c1 head
stage 3 port/polish with valve job 3 angle
itr cams
itr valve springs
ss valves
skunk 2 camgears
stock i.m
rc eng. 750cc injectors
aem fuel rail
msd fuel pump
hondata s300
random manifold
garett gt3076r .82 hotside
38mm tial wastegate
2.5" exhaust
this is what i made at 6lbs boost
207 hp
170 torque

I wouldnt worry about the numbers yet. Get everything you need to run more boost and hit the dyno again. Am I looking at it wrong. Looks like you only revved to 7000RPM on that pull?

I see a ton of money wasted on this set-up. The stock pistons and rods can handle more than the stock sleeves.
We did a b20vtec set-up about seven years ago using a stock b20b short block, a stock b16 head, ford motorsport 42# injectors, VAFC, and a old Revhard kit with a t3/t4b and it made 276whp on 9psi.

Re: (Boostwerks.com)
i feel like there is something wrong as well. just looking at the torque curve something seems off. a .82 30r should not be dropping torque at all especially 7k.
also where you tuning by the dyno wideband? if so it looks a bit lean.

do you think it is the tuning?? or maybe the motor is on the weaker side???? i upgraded to je pistons and better rods becuase i had already blown a piston so i figured i would upgrade, piston was blown with old setup i had before , #4 fuel injector went out and screwed it up

Re: (ferio82)
i can feel a leak coming from the downpipe where the reducer from 3" to 2.5" is , think that could be the problem, maybe a loss of pressure. hmmmm, gonna have to get that checked out
