My 1st time @ the track w/turbo

Re: My 1st time @ the track w/turbo (11psiTurboSI)
you should be able to do a LOT better. on my old setup when i had 285whp on a full interior dc2 i ran a 13.6 @ 106 with a 2.384 60ft. With that kind of traps you should be doing a lot better, you need more seat time.

If your car is not really for drag racing, what did you build it for? Pretty decent times for a full weight chassis. Some people don't relize these cars do like low 15's stock so mid 13's is a good place to start.

Re: (11psiTurboSI)
what did you launch at?? how were your other runs?? i'm expecting to get the same power numbers as you..
i was hoping to run low 13's or high 12's.. probably with more seat time..

Just my observation, but that's a pretty laggy road racer. You torque is under 100 for a good bit of your graph. quick spool will help you clear those apex's with minimal effort.

My setup is the same = for road racing
Road racing car = bad 1/4 mile drag car
Drag racing car = bad track car
My brother in law thought my car sucked until I whooped his *** on the way home...

Re: (11psiTurboSI)
with that mph and your power, i would see no reason for you to not be in 12's on street tires and very low 12's with drag radials....
if you said you were gettin wheel hop you should look into upgrading your motor mounts. i did the window weld trick on my integra and it helped alot with wheel hop.. i just cant get past how you cant pull atleast a 2.2 with lsd n those semi-sticky tires

thats a pretty damn choppy dyno chart from someone thats "The Best"... and with that kind of power you should be running way faster let alone trapping much higher... unless this was on a dynojet, then your numbers are pretty accurate... car looks badass nonetheless

Re: (11psiTurboSI)
Same turbo as mine, except I have more compression 9:1 and I have a b18c1 bottom end.
My best time on street tires at that psi was 13.3s @114-115mph.
Now on 22*15 slicks I'm running 12.1-12.3 @115-116
I thought I should be trapping higher as well, but this is the 2600lbs EM coupe we're talking about here, not a light *** eg chassis.
Your times are pretty normal. You've got to get tires to dip in the twelves.

It's not a stock B16. He has JE pistons and Eagle rods in his parts list up there.
BTW, 11psiTurboSI, how much power did you make with this setup at 11psi?
