Great going Mike. Hitting the dyno any time soon to see the fruits of your labor? I think I have some 880's lying around used only on the dyno. If you need them before getting those 1,000's you're welcome to try them for a while. My build, shop, and almost all parts were taken in a fire week before last so just let me know.

as for tuning, I got my Neptune RTP and MAC boost solenoid setup from Xenocron yesterday. First thing I did was switch to the hondata 4 bar MAP I got from Micah at Lightning Motorsports and tune the car on the same boost that the manual boost controller was set at. I have never put a boost gauge on this car, so i have just tuned based on how fast the car is and how "safe" I thought it was on stock motor and 93 octane pump gas. Well the datalogger says I'm at 20 lb on the Hondata 4 bar MAP LOL. I always knew the GM 3 bar MAP sensors have variability and I can never find legit offsets and scalars for them, but I used the crome GM 3 bar setting when tuning my car on crome gold.
Neptune RTP software takes some getting used to, but I like the additional features compared to crome gold. I especially like the antitheft among other things. I have the car on the MAC boost solenoid now that i figured out what boost the manual boost controller was set at and spent around 20 minutes tuning it so far. It is pretty close but I am going to fine tune it so that my car doesn't spin tires like crazy in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. On my drag radials the car had to be run at partial throttle to regulate the boost and could only go full throttle in 4th gear at the current power level.
hopefully I will get some track results soon. shooting for 10's on stock 1.6 bottom end full interior integra on 93 octane pump gas!!!

Dude, I was scrolling down through your thread where I then got to the pic of that enormous spider. I flippin hate spiders and that pic actually made me jump and nearly throw my laptop in the floor. Honest to God truth!!!! If I would have seen that spider in person I would have ran and screamed.
I like that you are having fun with pushing the stock engine. I have done that a couple times now. With my last stock engine turbo setup I was on a mission to run 10's with a stock B18C on M&H 235 bias plys. I am pretty sure it would have done, but the engine managed to ingest a small piece of steel on the street one afternoon and that ended it's life. The damage to the piston and the head was not as bad as it could have been, but the piece of metal was just big enough to fit past the intake valves and just big enough for the piston to come up and slap it. It put enough side load on the piston/rod that it put 3 hairline cracks in that particular cylinder wall. So that held me up from throwing a new hg on there and going at it again. I still have the little chunk of steel taped to the inside of my toolbox.
Good luck with it and I will be checking this thread. I like reading this stuff.

i swear my buddy and i were wtf'ing for like 15 min straight when we saw that spider. i have like 35 pics of it on my phone so i could get the perfect lighting. i thought it could be fake since it didn't move at all while we took pics and even when i set a penny next to it. it started moving when i put a jar over it to capture it so it wouldn't escape while i called in an air raid to firebomb the garage

hahahaha. I was stationed out in Albuquerque, NM for a few years. One of the guys I served with knew that I was straight scared of spiders. One afternoon while I was working on one of our planes a flippin tarantula walked out on the flightline to warm up. Needless to say, it was caught and then the guys proceeded to chase me for an hour straight with a box that I thought it was in. They let me go home early that afternoon because I was so distraught and the spider was made someone's pet. EFFFF THAT!!!!!!!!
On another note, that F-15 in the lower left pic may be one my brother works on. He is a jet engine specialist at Seymour-Johnson AFB. That jet is designated with their tale lettering.
My last stock turbo B18C I had tuned on race gas (110 octane Sunoco). It made 360whp+, I can not remember the exact number. Howard Shoaf down at RLZ Engineering tuned it. It was a simple setup, cast manifold, modded 54 trim turbonetics, Precision 880's, Mac valve, and Neptune RTP. Took it to the track once and only got a few passes before it started raining. I was trying to dial in the boost by gear stuff in Neptune and get my launch down. It did not live that long after that.

goal is 10 sec ET's on 93 octane and stock bottom end in my full interior teg

Re: my 1.6 stock bottom end turbo integra build
my car has never seen a dyno. I just street tuned it with conservative timing since I'm on pump gas, reading the plugs. also got the fuel to 11.8ish since I have a wideband on the car at all times. It is way faster with the ITR cams and more boost than when I went 11.9 btw.

everyone in kc is telling me its impossible guys on the streets are all fully built with at least 10k in their build soo that brought down my motivation. i sure aint trying to hit 10's lol but a good street build that'll smoke some of these 10k value cars would be sweet! hands down to you bro lol

Re: my 1.6 stock bottom end turbo integra build
took the plugs out last night to check, here are a couple pics:
I've been driving around on neptune for the past two days and the car is still somewhat rich in boost. I haven't really gotten to fine tuning it to high 11's AFR in boost.
right now my compression is 165-165-135-145 (in order 1 through 4)
the pics show the spark plugs from left to right 4,3,2,1
I'm really wondering if I could have a blown headgasket on my hands. When I melted the piston the other day while doing a pull on an empty tank I didn't have enough money for a new HG and just cleaned/copper sprayed the HG I was running the whole time. No coolant in oil or oil in coolant. When I take the oil filler cap off to look for smoke coming from the valvecover (indicator of cracked ring lands) I see no smoke. There is a little blowby but this motor has had blowby even when it was running without a turbo. I just put used rings in it from the get go.
thanks for any helpful insights or advice. my gut feeling is to put on the new HG I have, also removing the pistons to check for broken ringlands while the head is off. I have a feeling the ringlands are good and that the HG is slightly blown.

and PS these plugs have been in my motor for thousands of miles without cleaning or changing, so yeah they look pretty rough LOL. I got new ones waiting for me at Oreilly to go pick up.

Re: my 1.6 stock bottom end turbo integra build
decided to take the motor down for inspection since it was just crazy that I'm on 24 lb in 4th gear without any issues lol. headgasket looked perfect, pistons looked good with no broken ringlands, i just don't get this motor LOL. I have some forged rods and pistons going into my new motor, so I put some stock PR3 rods/pistons back in my stock bottom end setup so it will have some pep when I use it one day without a turbo. I started tuning it last night and it spins 2nd gear on my drag radials on wastegate rofl. I had to use more boost to do that with the GSR pistons. I may take it to the track before putting in my built motor but probably won't push it too hard. (yeah right LOL)

Re: my 1.6 stock bottom end turbo integra build
so far so good. car is spinning the drag radials in 3rd gear on 12-13 lb. Right now I have it on wastegate in 1st and 2nd gear, 11 lb in 3rd and 13 lb in 4th and it feels pretty dang fast.
my new block is at my buddy's machine shop right now. He checked the deck and said it was barely warped... so he took 0.010" off of the deck. Next is to bore the block to 81.5mm for the new CP pistons.

my turbo daily beater at my buddy's machine shop
my new rods and pistons going in the built motor which will first go in the teg and ultimately go into the CRX to shoot for single digits in the 1/4

Re: my 1.6 stock bottom end turbo integra build
well I took the integra to evadale raceway's last open day of the year for some more passes. I'm still on the stock B16A motor (with PR3 rods/pistons as I put them in a couple weeks ago) and running Neptune.
The weather was terrible for racing. It was 70-80 degrees and there was a 35 mph headwind. First pass I had the launch at 7500 on the antilag settings and the car still bogged. Went 12.3@114 with a terrible short track. I put the launch at 9000 and then went 11.9@113.5 on the next hit. These passes were on 18 lb. I've had the car as high as 22 lb on the street but that was when it was much colder.
Now I brought 5 gallons of VP 109 with me in anticipation of dumping it in after burning some of the 93 out of the tank. When my level got around 3/8th of a tank I dumped the VP109 in the tank. I started out adding a little bit of timing and fuel to make some hits and got the car to run 11.9 again but with a worse short track. There were a lot of cars racing and the track seemed to be deteriorating. I was running 11 psi in the slicks when I started and ended up at 6.5 when it was all said and done.
I cranked the boost up after making a few high 11 sec hits and noticed the AFR's were jumping around after 22 psi of boost. So I finally put my GE fuel rail and Aeromotive FPR on the car, as I had a stock fuel rail and FPR before. I took some fuel out of the map in anticipation of having more fuel pressure and made a hit. It was 12.3@108 and the AFR's were pegged rich at 10.0, the richest my wideband will read lol. 3rd and 4th gear is basically when I hit full boost, as I'm babying the car on the short track until I get the tune down. I fall out of boost going into 2nd gear because I don't full throttle shift, but I am mainly making hits on the car to get the tune right. Once the tune is right it's time to full throttle shift through all the gears. In 3rd and 4th I was misfiring due to running so rich.
I took some more fuel out of the tune and the car sounded a lot better on the burnout. But when I launched it the differential broke. So now it's time to put in my LSD transmission that I had planned on using when I switched to the built motor and my CRX chassis. I like my integra a lot, so I may continue to run it instead of the CRX, that is until I have time to get the CRX painted and looking pretty.
until next time, stock 1.6 bottom end checking out...

not sure. car has been from 2650-2700 with driver depending what kind of crap I have in it when running. I figure it's making around 400 WHP to get into the high 11's
engine bay pics? The bay isn't pretty at all lol. The previous owner of the car "painted" the engine bay with this weird metallic-looking paint that resembles a greasy surface even when cleaned. I'll snap a few shots when I get a chance. I'm gonna yank the transmission out and put my LSD transmission in sometimes this week so that will be a good time to get some pics. I just put my headers/xpipe/exhaust on my fox body so it will be my daily driver assuming it runs well enough (built a motor and put it in a while back, haven't gotten to finishing it up and tuning it yet). So I think I may put the teg on a diet and make a ram-air intake.

so your pushing out this much power with itr cams and a virtually stock Bseries engine all stock parts? even the head is stock no dual springs?

I got a built bottom end waiting to go together but I'm gonna try to find the potential of the stock bottom end with my tuning before I start using the built motor.
