all I know is I had a Digital 6 and it malfunctioned and robbed the car of about 100+whp at least, so I switched to a 6A and that worked fine
It may have been just a defective unit, though--I highly doubt that happens with most Digital 6's.
If you have Hondata, etc. then you don't really need all that other stuff that comes with the Digital 6 because Hondata has the rev limiter/launch control.

stay away from the dig6+, if you want anything get the dig7 (not the race unit)
The six is tight as **** when it works, notice I said "when it works" I have one that i have already sent in and still doesn't work. a few of my buddyes with tell you the same thing, I know a hand full of people right now that have non working units. And no our wiring is not fucked up.

yes, from my experience, I would definitely agree that the Digital 6 is not all that good.

So I was thinking I would want to get the MSD 6BTM as seen here http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/msdbtm/msd.php but is that the same as what you guys are talking about?

In other words would it have reliabilty issues as well?

I've had bad luck with MSD products.

From the 6A to the 6AL to the digital 6+.

I burnt a TON of blaster coils on my supercharged dakota.

I went thru 2- 6a boxes. They just quit working...

I wired the digital 6 + up and the 2step NEVER worked... that was fun.

and the 6al didn't work out the box... (a 6a but with "vibration extras")
