hey HT I installed a msd 6al with 2-step in my integra gsr and it has a 4000k pills and a 9000k pills. For some reason car wont rev pass 7k and my ecu was set at 8500

sounds to me like your muffler bearings are going out.

Get more specific. Stock ECU? stock gsr? "set at 8500" by what?

turbo gsr running hondata. was running fine b4 installing msd 6al with 2 step

the new 6al or the old one? also did it have the wires to cut for 4,6,8 cylinder? if so did you cut them?

the old one i havent cut it i got it from a friend who had it on a integra

undo the 2 step, take the pills out and see what happens.

check to make sure the 4 cyl loop is cut and ^^like he said take the pills out. that will eliminate its rev limit and use your computers limit. those pills have resistors inside of them and they are subject to change slightly with temperature. you can contact msd tech support and they can tell you what they should read with a meter.
i did notice on my old setup, it seemed as if the longer the wires were connecting all the compoents the further my tach seemed off.

i check its cut already. today i tried taking off the pills and it work normal. wats going on ?
