I used it and worked great. Many others on here use it as well. It should be about the size of a quarter. Make sure when you install it you put it in a safe place because they are very fragile.

yeah there was i tiny hole between the fuel pump and battery on the fire wall, ran a screw threw one of the map holes then into the hole on the firewall, seems to be in a good spot where nothing can hit it or get to it

I use it also. they are very fragile. I dunno if heat is an issue with these but my first 2.5 bar didn't work at all. recieved it from xenocron and brand new from him it never worked. I ended up having to order another one and that one worked fine. if I ever need to replace this one, I am going with a Omni, hondata or anything better than this fragile piece.

The sensors are rated for 250F, which is about as hot as the hottest street turbo's air will be. Any hotter, and you have other issues (besides putting the MAP in the wrong spot!). They are also solid-state, meaning the failure rate is FAR lower than a mechanical style, as well as last far longer (no harm from vibration).
If you poke around the forum AND google intraweb, you will find its a great MAP sensor. I tend not to use the larger ported version, instead I use the one the size of a pinky finger nail in a stock-sized housing.

what did you use to put this in a stock size housing? might do this myself for a little extra protection for it

The 2.5 bar map sensors work very well. We sell the larger model to our customer's with a pigtail pre-soldered to the sensor to make the install easier on the customer.
The best solution is the omnipower 4 bar plug & play map sensors that are in a stock housing

Read the engraving on those MAP's, then read my name. He pwned me.
Xenocron has a good lineup of DIY map sensor parts. If you can solder to a decent degree (IC legs are 1mm apart, 1mm wide or so), you can DIY. Otherwise get them from Omnipower. Good stuff, premade & well tested
