Most WHP on DSM 450s

What is the most HP that anyone has seen here using DSM 450's?

that all depends on turbo size, you cant really determine this factor, better measured with whp

According to RC's calculator, assuming 60 psi, .57 BSFC (mine's supercharged), 85% duty cycle, I could support 250 WHP (295 crank horsepower) with my 450s.

most boosted cars i've seen, including my old setup, maxed those injectors out in the 260whp range with base fuel pressures under 50 psi. I would say stay under 250whp with them and make sure you have them cleaned and balanced before you do anything.

dsm 450cc... i would say are good to 400 whp ..

i ran for about 7 months dsm450's at 60 psi .. with 14-16 psi of boost and was making 310 whp ..... and 209 trq... BUBBA TUNNED

they do the job ...

My buddy maxed his out on his GST at a little over 300whp. He also had his car tuned and upgraded with a Holley fuel pump on a 16G turbo setup. 450cc injectors aren't gonna make more than 350whp.

It also depends if you are running a fmu or something like a hondata. With a fmu and crazy high (100+psi) fuel pressure I could see making 330whp+. But running a safe setup without maxing out the injectors I would think 300whp would be about it.

Anything over 275ish and I would step up to 550's.

At 250whp mine were around 80% duty as I recall.

Do you know what 120% duty cycle means? Thats not physically possible. 100% duty cycle means they are open ALL the time. Anything over 100% duty cycle, and there's not a drop of extra fuel over 100% duty cycle.

i think what beerbongs meant was that according to uberdata calculations on the injector duty tab is that at XXXWHP it was XXXduty cycle, which i think everyone has already come to the conclusion that the injector duty tab on Uber may be off.

Yeah pretty much like evosol was saying, uberdata just said 120%. My buddy was sitting there tuning the car and it needed more fuel so he wondered what would happen if he set the duty cycle to 120% lol. Hell I think it might have been even higher. I also noticed when getting my car tuned duty cycle was pretty high, but I was only making like 215whp, so my injectors had a lot more to go. Give me a break I only had a few hours sleep when I posted that last night.

Damn, looks like DSM 450's will work fine for my goals!

Sory but dsm injectors is kind of a gheto way of doing things. They are low impedance which means you will need a resister box. go with some high impiedant 440cc, or some 500cc that bolt right in. Oh another thing never lissen to boostincoupe he is a dumb ***....
