im looking for some assistance on getting my oil return to have a better return flow. if any has any pics of suggestions please list and show thx









you can see a small kink in the line in which im not proud of and want to work out

yes i know i made a rookie mistake with not using the correct tools on the an fittings, my mistake

i have a ramhorn manifold paired with t3/t4 turbo

Cut the hose.
Turn the turbo fitting towards the oil pan inlet.
You also might want to turn the 45* on the oil pan more vertical.
If possible, clock the compressor for more clearance.

Clock the turbo towards the block, currently the turbo is in a straight up down position. I'll see what clocking slightly more will accomplish.

I'd weld a new fitting keep things simple (no bends or kinks)

I feel like if you turn the fitting on the turbo toward the driver side some more it would straighten out?

You want the Chris straight up and down for best oil draining. This can simply be fixed by shortening the hose and turning the fitting on the turbo toward the fitting on the pan and turning the fitting on the pan slightly up should be good to go. If you want to remove the oil pan and weld a bung straight with the turbo center that would work as well. Either way your going to shorten the hose and readjust the fitting angle

When I had a shorter hose and the return line was straight. The line was underneath the compressor where the intercooler pipe would connect. I ordered a 90 degree coupler because the pipe was hitting the traction bar.

It seems to me that this moroso return bung is more of a headache than an easy fix lol

Yeah its a dumb design. I put a hose clamp about mid section on my return line to keep out possible kinks

Can I use a 1/2 npt to -10an fitting for my new drain back

Seems like there are two issues....One is the hose is little too long. Second is the fitting that was welding onto the pan is perfectly horizontal...its should be 45 degrees facing towards the turbo. I have the same EXACT set-up...mine works great the biggest issue on yours is the fitting you welding on the pan. If that was facing upwards more it would flow much much better!

It still seems if you shortened the hose and pointed it towards the moroso pan fitting it would be better
