I prefer using Toyota Black FIPG w/o any oil pan gasket. Make sure that all surfaces are completel clean and wiped with a clean rag with brake cleaner. Use a generous bead with the provided tube cone and wing shaped tube squeezing thingy. Make sure you install it immediately and don't make it sit and get tacky. Let it cure over night before adding any oil to the crankcase.

I had problems with the moroso pan not sealing with the stock gasket because of the flat pan rails vs the stock gasket design, so i cleaned both surfaces thoroughly and used only hondabond as a gasket, worked great.

Which Moroso Pan you talking bout? the oem style or 5 quart one?

If Oem, just use the oem gasket with just Honda bond on the 4 corners...where the oil pump and rear main seal meets up to the block...

then i just hand tightn them down to where they just barley sandwich together...been doing it for years on oem and moroso pans...no leaks here..

On my 5qt Moroso, I always just lightly coat both sides of an OEM gasket with grey gasket maker. Never have an issue with leaking and I have used this pan on 3 motors.
