I don't see how this is possible, unless the turbo car had zero timing in it, was running at a 9:1 AFR, no intercooler, and a 2" downpipe.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Whut....4psi of boost? Who the hell would boost that low wif a T3/T4 57 trim? And why would you slap a turbo on with that kind of compression ratio?! Sounds pointless to me.

Re: (9341civic)
on my cams the adjustable cam gears are set @ 0 on the intake & 0 on the exhaust
where should they be for a turbo car
the cams that i am using are crower stage 2 (63402)

Re: (9341civic)
too much overlap from the cams? CR is really high for a boost setup + everything the same = no change in tuning? then being that advanced for an n/a setup will mess you up when going turbo... danger!

Re: (SHystrdyGSRtdy)
i used the same tuner for both the na setup & the current turbo setup
i made less power on the dyno with the turbo setup @4psi
today i reinstalled the 7psi spring in the wastegate and it feels healthier , but still needs to be tuned more
ems 1010 ver1.11

Re: (9341civic)
Sounds like horrible tuning. Any more info on the setup? a/f ration? base maps?...
BTW Take pictures when you pull shards of the pistons out of the pavement and hood.

Try retarding the in-boost timing. When the mixture gets thicker it takes longer for the flame to spread.
Also, you may be misfiring. You should be using plugs a step colder than before and gapped at 0.030" or so.
