I use this turbo on my SOHC and got 200hp with a 8psi gate, and still rockin it. DOHC I would not use this small turbo because it will run out in 3rd gear.

alright. think i will sell it then and get a bigger one...

It says its capable of 350 hp out of this turbo.... Did you just remove the wastegate and block it off and use external gate?

STOCK turbo off of a 97 DSM? If it's a t25, it's no where near capable of 350.

What does it look like? Left one. Or right one?

Count the compressor blades, like the way in the picture. Do they overlap, or are a single blade?

A 14b is capable of around 280ish. A 16g would be able to flow close to 350's. And the evo3 Big 16g is close to 400's. But they all look the same from the outside, even with the TD05H markings.

if its a stock turbo off a 97 its a t25 like stated before. a decent turbo for a small setup, but id sell it money can be better spent.

T25 is made by garrett. Its the one pictured on the left. A TD05 is made my Mitsubishi. If it has dual blades its likley a small or big 16g. if it has single blades its a 14b.

I would be suprised if it was a 14g, while that wheel does exsist.... it's really rare to actually see it on anything.

Is the turbo watercooled??? If no it's possible it could be an 18g. Many people went that route due to the fact you could get the dry housing unit for like 439 new.

Yes its watercooled...
Twin bladed badness. ahaha its so tiny compared to everyones turbos on here but its new and its damn free.. And EVERYWHERE says you can get 350 out of it.. I dont need 350... 250 to the wheels would tickle my pink.

Remember that DSM's run significantly higher (than your typical DIY Honda) boost pressures to accomplish 350-400whp on those

But for 250, you should be good to go.
