Mishimoto Intercooler and Radiators, ANY GOOD?
i basically wanted to upgrade my radiator before i went boost, being that my rad is the original OEM rad from 97.. 10 years old.. well while i was looking for info on the radiator I ran into the intercooler.
I've heard great thing about the radiators but nothing on their intercoolers.. any of you guys ever ran one or heard of anyone running one, is it reliable, any good? im thinking of giving this company a try..
Are the intercoolers any good?

413whp here with a mishimoto radiator and intercooler, driven in tx heat regularly, no problems.
We got killer deals on the rads right now, see my sig!

I dont remember the exact temps. We did spray it with a water bottle on the dyno to keep is cool. After one run it was about 1/4 heat soaked.

Yeah i figure it wouldn't really matter for my set up but what kinda scares me is the temperatures, it's mostly hot here in texas..

You'll be fine. Believe it or not, it gets hot and humid in ND...my little JRC intercooler has worked just fine for me and i'm hoping that continues with my new setup and build

Yep, we keep them all in stock. They are extremely popular with the nissan and subie guys. The rads are identical to Koyos and the intercoolers have performed great for all our customers. You can't beat the price for either, that's for sure.

Re: (QuarterMileMaster)
mishimoto radiator working fine on my setup...just got a bad radiator cap but it was replaced by the dealer free of charge and hopefully i'll work np

Do you honestly think that Mishimoto has their own factory? Hell no. It's just your typical Chinese radiator with Mishimoto emblems on the sides and radiator cap for twice the price. Just get one of these:

It's the same thing!!

i have to admit, i just got my mishimoto rad and fan combo and i was very dissapointed with the RAD CAP and the way it locks in.
i can already foresee troubles with the cap coming loose and not screwing on tightly.
My cap from factory out of the box was on really tight that it scored the mouth the cap screws in when i tried to undo it to take it off.
and does look cheapish like china ebay rep.

Re: (kayot1k)
I had a misimoto radiator and it looked the sam as the ebay one. It work muck better than my stock one, but it did feel that the cap was a little sketch. I would buy on agin though

heheheh, katoeh2o yeh i mean i got it cheap like way cheaper than koyo but i guess i expected quality stuff. bit dissapointed with that sketchy cap lol cockeyed locking position mine sits vertically instead of horizontal like oem i.e the sticker is side on i dont know if thast normal.
but if it last me atleast 1 year then ill be more than satisfied.
i guess we can conclude mishimoto is just as good as an ebay copy just with a badge.
