Miniature check valve: Crap?

Looks like a run-to-the-mill POS check valve to me... I got 3 of them on ma ZC, so I should sell them as like JDM check valves/T's when I get my SMC... http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emhammer.gif

why would someone buy check valves from ebay when you can get them from petsmart for like 2.00$ and they do the exact same thing!
