Might have wipped out my piston rings
Hello all, well about four months I got my car togather. Fully built b16a2 by earl with a drag kit. I was running the hack with my older setup, but now I wanted to get my car tunned with hondata. I made an appointment with my shop and they told me to get bigger injectors, therefore I got some RC750's and put them in. Before taking the car to the shop for tunning and instaling the hondata, I wanted to make sure there were no leaks and the car was running. So we started the car and let it worm up. After about about 5 mins we noticed alot of smoke out the exgust(Blue). So we shut the car down and pulled out the spark plugs, there was little bit of oil in all four. So I called Earl (really helpful) and asked him what could be worng. I tolt him I have put in 750's and dumped out as much fuel I could. He told me all the possibillties and I checked them all, He also told me that I might have wipped out the rings because of all the fuel I dumped in by using bigger injectors. Sorry for the long post, just wanted some feedback. Let me know if u need more info. thank you.

I don't want to scare u, but washing your rings is quite a possability. The first minutes of the motor is very key to ring seal
My friend had a similar problem. After installing his built engine he had a wiring problem which caused him to run pig rich. The excess fuel caused his rings to not seat properly. Hopefully this is not the case with you.
Good Luck

No too experienced in the field of washing rings, but from I read and learned I don't think you can wash out rings that quickly..it usually takes quite a while a very rich settings. Yes you were probably pig rich, but like I said it takes time too. I'd say, put your stock injectors back in and run it again to see if you have any permanent damage.
Free bumb to see what anyone else thinks
edit: I just saw that this might be a brand new motor....if so yes you may have not let the rings seat properly. The first few minutes determine 80% of ring sealing quality.
