Turbo issues......smokes on start ups after sitting for 10 min.
Mind you my car is not tuned and I am trying out different maps until I dyno tune it on the 18th, and it won't idle. Now, the issue is when I would let it sit for a few minutes and start it up it would blow a shitload of white smoke, but again only on the start up. Now, one of my oil cooler lines was loose and it spilled oil onto my downpipe and header wrap so it still smells like burning oil so I can't quite tell if it was oil buring. I checked the tailpipe for oily residue, and there was none. Mind you the car has only been driven twice sine I hooked the charge pipe up. I was thinking that the rings got washed out or something, but I am not for certain. Hopefully it isnt the rings or the seals in the turbo. Any ideas from you guys?

hmm.. do a compression test, prior to smoke out the valve cover, i got smoke from exhaust on cold starts, and minor oil spots from breather valve.. sure enough, few days later lots of smoke from breather valve and oil cap.. i should have done compression test at first signs.
