Mig welding on car--damage ecu & other electronics?
How do you guys mig weld stuff while it is still attached to the car? Do you disconnect the ECU and pull the fuses to your electronic gear before you start to prevent damage? Or do you just pull the negative on the battery and roll your dice?

Okay, I read somewhere that within a few feet of where you weld, the voltage spike is pretty high and *may* damage electronics even if you pull the battery.
