middle ground between stock and forged internals?
Is there a type of piston material or process to have the quiet runnig of stock internals and (nearly) the strength of forged? this would be for a D16z6 in a 93 sol with the xs-engineering intercooled turbo kit. Maybe Hondata. Thanks

only thing u can do to stock pistons is hot-coat them or jet-coat them but thats still nothing like forged if u going to do the work to go in the bottom end just buy forged pistons but no matter what honda pistons got weak ring landings

No you cant shot peen pistons.
and theres nothing you can do to stock internals that would make them equal
the strength of aftermarket pieces.
