Default MBC on dual wastegates

I did some looking around and couldnt come up with a stright answer. Can you run a manual boost controller on a dual wastegated setup? Ive tried 2 different controllers and no matter what i do, it goes straight over whatever im tryin to run. I set a boost cut at 20 but tryin to run about 18. No matter what i do it just tries to go straight over 20psi. Ive heard you cant just throw a MBC in the same way with a single gate. Ive got an AFI top mount, dual 44 tial gates, but the turbo is not twin scroll. Any help is greatly appreciated.

do you have it split to the 2 gates, or just to 1 gate

run a t off from the mbc to both gates

why not go ebc via mac/aem/hondata solenoid anyways

Yeah its T'd in right. And I've tried just about every way of hooking it up with the same reults. I'm on Crome right now, gonna switch to eCtune and do the EBC but that's not gonna be for a couple months. I do have the other springs to put in the gates to make it 20psi, but I'd just like to know that a mbc won't work.

Yeah ive tried everything to make them work right. Ive bench tested both MBC's and both test fine so i dont know. Ive heard that getting them to work on a dual gate setup is impossible, just wondering why?

Higher boost is less of an issue to control, since the WG's open less. One thing it could be is lack of flow. You may need 2 MBC's because the rising boost can't flow through the single MBC enough to fill both WG's. If they can't, you will spike quite a bit until the WG opens the valve enough.

I'm assuming that with just spring pressure, you can maintain LESS than 18PSI?
