I belive that the H22 cranks are longer then the b18c. If you did this you would have to relocate the jurnals on the block. I think it would be point less

That wouldn't be pointl-less, just inpractical. If the rods and pistons were still at the same angle if would work very nicely indeed. With that stroke and such a large beefy crank it would be quite a stump-puller. Not to mention that a longer crank would be more stable with higher rpms due to the larger bearing area. I can see why it would be in-feasible due to cost and the amount work involved to get it to work. You'd be redesigning the B-block from the bearings up.
