May have damaged my clutch/tranny. Can someone help me troubleshoot?
I made a few runs at the track tonight. Well, it was hella cold and I got ZERO traction in 1st and 2nd. So I held 2nd out for a little while then went into third. Well when I went into 3rd I had my foot to the floor but nothing happened, the rpms started dropping before my eyes. The mph gauge started kinda going up and down, just acting weird. Then I got this HORRIBLE smell in the cabin, traced it to the tranny. Everything seemed a o.k. on the ride home. What do you think happened? Sorry I dont post much but I dont know very much about clutch/tranny.

nah, when your clutch slips your rpms climb and your speed drops. </TD></TR></TABLE>
