Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available.
Some of you guys know me from z10 but i only work there in the summers when im not at school
anyway i work part time at a shop while im at school in arizona, and we do primarily Supra, Porsche and Nissan work. I have almost convinced my boss to make a run of B series manifolds from forged stainless steel, not mild, not stainless tubing, forged stainless (simply will not crack) It also has 1/2" thick flanges (will not warp) with a t3 flange and the standard delta gate flange. This is not like those drag kits or revhard kits with junky manifolds, its real quality.
the cost of the manifolds is 350 for the first 20. He has done 10 thus far and had good results, im sick of my AXZ manifold cracking every other day so im converting over. If you guys are interested, i thought some of you could use these... ill post pictures tomrrow. And no this isnt commerical, no it has nothing to do with z10 and no im not making any money. If you are interested, email me.

Wow, $350 for a forged stainless manifold is pretty darn cheap. That's basically not going to crack.

I might be interested. Would it resemble the Revhard or Drag manifolds at all in terms of positioning? I had wanted to use the Arturbo downpipe.

If they will be a direct replacment for a DRAG manifold count me in. I already ordered a downpipe from Art and I would like to still use that.

What would Igain w/ this over forged? Just something that doesn't crack, or would I see power w/ it?

Re: Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available. (z10 geoff)
I will take pics of the bare manifold. It will come with just the deltagate flange, and we will be producing an adaptor to which the HKS or non-delta Tial flanges can be welded to.
the positioning is fairly simlar to the revhard/drag, however i do not knowm if the downpipes will fit. Provided the interest is high enough we can supply you all with a 2 1/2 or 3" t304 stainless downpipe. And the price will certianly be right.
Also we will offer a 6 month warranty, free of charge.
Im interested in hearing your replies.

I am definately interested.. Hondata is number 1 on my priority list but i could see this making it up there.. How much will it be with 3" downpipe?? Also how long will I be able to get it.. Might take me a bit to save up for it considering all the jack i am gonna spend on stand alone....

Re: Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available. (ill logic)
we are going to offer the manifold, turbo and downpipe for 1199.99
the turbo will be a 57 trim t3/t04e witht he new 4 bolt downpipe flange, not that crappy 5 bolt one. Way cleaner.
I will get a price for DP, and manifold with the 5 bolt flange for all you guys who already have the turbo.
The 350$ price is only for the first 20, it will go to 399 once we get the ball moving. We just want to make sure the interest is out there. Everything is tooled up and ready to go, but if were going to make them we need to be sure the demand is out there. I can definately say this is the best street manifold out there.

Re: Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available. (z10 geoff)
Hey Geoff,
I'm thinking of putting together my own turbo kit............I have a JDM B16a in a 90 Civic 4dr ( super sleeper) Daily Driver
My specs
ITR cams, cam gears, AEM CAI, B&M FPR and gauge, Hondata stage 2, PR3 ecu, custom 2.25 straight thru exhaust...basic boltons blah blah blah........
Planning on boosting no more than 8pds on stock bottom end......
Is that turbo the right specs for my app? Will the down pipe work with my car? Does the mani work with my block?
Any suggestions or comments on how I should piece together my systems is greatly appreciated......
Thanks for your help....

I presume that the 1199 price includes a new turbo, not a rebuilt one?
Also are any other trim levels available?
Lastly, any plans to offer the piping as well? Hehe, yeah I'm lazy...

Re: Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available. (civichybridb16a)
Hey i think you will really be happy with this turbo. I had it on a completely stock b18b1 for 2 years, and ran a best of 12.4 with *no* engine work at all in a 94 coupe.
I boosted to 12 psi and used PMS for management. If you are a drag racer this turbo is ideal. It will easily push a nice flowing 8 psi for you application. I highly recommend upgrading to at least a 2.5" exhaust. That extra 1/4" makes a difference. The manifold will fit on all B series heads (b20a excluded) and gives a better starting point than any other manifold on the market.

Re: Good cheap stainless turbo manifolds available. (Ein)
That is correct, we do not use remanufactured turbos. This is a brand new Garret turbo from alliedsignal/honeywell. It is also the better design 4 bolt exhaust flange without the turbulent wastegate relief hole on the housing.
We feel the 57 trim is the ideal size for most every B series motor. It spools nicely and is capaple of 450 whp. The piping will be available, but not for some time. We have a number of supra projects going on in the meantime that uses up most of our time
