Time to get aftermarket pistons and rods. Shot peening the rods will not help you.
its been documented here 300-320whp safely.

*Edit* ITR rods are ITR Rods.. "JDM" uses the same part number rod. as any other international market.

/end thread. Good luck.

Well i was looking at the nippon pistons that come with forged rods for like 400$ they claim that it can handle 450whp+ not bad deal i suspose if i can get 400whp i think i should be fine regardless this setup is going in a fully gutted crx that weighs in the 1800lbs

I have looked up and been seeing people running upwards of 400whp on stock gsr engines so how come itr rods would be able to handle the same power?

He's telling you your being a cheap *** and 500 doesn't come cheaply. Either lower the power goal or properly build the engine to meet your goal. You can make 800 on stock rods but it won't last more than a couple pulls. Forged rods and pistons aren't that expensive and they will take 500 all day with stock sleeves.

ive seen people run higher then that i think maybe even 500, I would post the link altho i think its against forum rules. google b16 500 hp..... but RELIABLE?, no its not reliable unless its forged. and those nippon pistons are not forged

Those were dyno queens, they might survive a few pulls on a dyno but the load put on a motor on the street is entirely different, on a dyno the engine isn't having to pull the weight of the car and driver around.

A stock rod won't be anywhere near reliable at 500hp and it's doubtful the car would even make it off the dyno in one piece.

forged rods and pistons are cheap and reliable... but if you enjoy replacing motors and other components damaged by repeated rod failures then by all means be my guest

-Bosh 650lb fuel pump.
-Skunk 2 fuel rail.
-Skunk 2 fpr.
-Bwr fpr gauge.
-4 bar map.
-Arp rod bolts.
-Arp head bolts.
-Arp flywheel bolts.
-Skunk 2 lmas.

-itr axles for now might get upgraded stage 3s later.
-Going to be tuned by a very reputable tuner here in Ft Lauderdale. He tuned my Ls/Vtec that made 205whp on e85.

Only parts am not sure on getting yet are the:
-Turbo size for 400 to 600whp(Was looking into hx turbos)
-Turbo mani i have yet to look into.
-Injector size & type/brand , i want to tune on e85 so not sure? (Seen people running id2000s but do those fit a skunk 2 rail?

I have most of the parts listed above still need to buy more parts, but not in a hurry. You guys are quick to say am cheap jeeezzz lol thats not the case here just want to know what is good and not for my turbo build.

The 650 is overkill. The Junk2 rail and FPR are pointless for your build, unless you just want them for bling factor. On E85, for 400 BHP, you can safely run ID1000's without any problem @90% duty cycle. They'll fit the OEM fuel rail, so they should fit the Junk2 rail, you'll just need to get the Honda/Acura caps for them from ID.

Yea i know 650 is a over kill but well its the only fuel fuel i had n it wrks quite well on my current all motor setup so that aint changing, yea i found some brand new rc1000s for a good price so am probably going with those, as far as the fuel rail yea one of my buddys said the stock one should be good enough n to just get the fpr n gauge. Remember i want 500whp but just want to start off with 350-400whp

The stock rail flows well enough to easily reach beyond 500. The adjustable FPR is still unneccessary if you have a proper pump and set of injectors, but if I were you, I'd be asking my tuner about the FPR - s/he is the one who will have to fiddle with it when tuning your car.
