Manley pistons.... who is using them?
Just looking for a little personal info from people that might be running them.
I am looking for things like.... how do they compare to CP pistons? Are they as strong? What is their power limit? Do I run the same piston to wall clearances that CP's run? And if I like what I hear.... where can I get a set for a good price?!?!
I am using the full Manley valvetrain and their turbo tuff rods as well. Just wondering about using the pistons too.
Some info on them can be found @ http://www.manleyperformance.c...2.pdf
Thanks in advance.

I have never used their Honda pistons but I have used lots of their V8 stuff. They use the same forgings as many of the others use and machine them in house.I have always been happy with their pistons.

My buddy ole pal Aaron from Full-Race is using manley pistons this time around. After throwing a rod through the block and destroying the bottom end they opted to try some different things, manley pistons being one of them.

nice, same wristpins that come in the shelf ones? Or do you have to upgrade the pins for high hp like wiseco and cp? I've never inquired about any updatability to them.
I'm ordering a set just to try them, I couldn't believe it there only 410 shipped!

I just ordered a set to try. Will let you know when it's done. I love the fact that the tool steel wristpins come standard. I called manley for some info and to order them but the guy I talked to was a dick so I decided to get them through full-race

So are the 'tool steel' wristpins like the wristpins you get with cp's or wisecos when you 'upgrade' them?
I ordered a set and already got them in. They look really nice, I'm very impressed.
I'm considering buying another set for my s366 setup.
Thanks again for your time,

Re: Manley pistons.... who is using them?
I'm personally using them and I know of a couple of others... I've made well over 750 HP and it hasn't given me any issue's. Great price and quality is up there among the rest. Got them from IPG...
