Which manifold puts the Downpipe of a HX35 on driver's side?
I have a 97 Civic HX that I will be swapping to a LS-T very soon. I want to use an Holset HX35. I am also keeping A/C and Power Steering.
Most of the pictures I look at has the cold side on the driver's side which is in the way of the PS and AC. I was wondering if anyone made a manifold that came out away from the block so that the turbo could be turned around and the Downpipe comes out on driver's side, because I'm pretty sure that would work.
Thanks.

using a holset with ac and ps is impossible, the compressor housing is quite large

Thats why I want to know if there is a manifold that would allow me to turn the turbo around so the compressor is on the passenger side. Then it wouldn't matter how big the compressor was, as long as it doesn't hit the radiator fan. Which I will probably end up getting a slim fan.

I'd suggest finding a guy on honda-tech that builds manifolds that has a good reputation. Send him the turbo and have him make something custom for you. That is the only way you are going to get what you want. Also with AC I'd suggest spending a couple extra bucks on thermal coating/wrapping the turbo parts and also having the person fab a heat shield for the AC.

If I had to chose anyone, it would be Jesse from AFI because hes a nice guy, a good welder, and makes stuff at a very reasonable price.

I recommend ccfab if you want a good case of herpes. If you want a turbo manifold in a timely fashion that is built well, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
