M&H DOT Street/Strip Pressure Question
Well first off let me introduce myself - Im not actually a Honda owner, but I have a FWD car that unfortunately doesn't have much of a performance following. I have a Scion tC that ~575 whp/550wtq - I started out trying the M/T Et Street Radials (26x9.5x15) but went through them in under 2 months and couldnt even hook 3rd.
After reading about alot of you guys running the M&H DOT Street/Strip for high HP street duty, I plan on making it the next tire on the car. I plan on running the 235/60/15 (About the same size as the ET Street radial) however with all my searching Ive been unable to find what tire pressure most people run in them on the street?
Im very familiar with what kind of pressure Id want to run in them at the track for a proper launch, but what about for someone wanting to hook most of 2nd and 3rd (45mph and up) on the street, what psi would you recommend?
I appreciate any response in advance!

That's a lot of torque in a fwd on the street. You may have to settle for lower boost in 2nd. Tire pressure matters but if it's breaking lose it's more than just pressure I would think.

Re: M&H DOT Street/Strip Pressure Question
I run 15-17 daily and dump them to 11-13 on the Weekends HOT for fun sexy times. I make similar tq with a MUCH better powerband. I have my BBG setup pretty well, and the tires work VERY VERY well... youre just going to have to find out the magic combo that works for you.
My car makes 750/575 at 8500 RPM...
Makes about 520/400 at 17 PSI
1st WG (11 PSI)
2nd 17 PSI
3rd 25 PSI
4th 30 PSI
5th 35 PSI
Just ballpark for you... 30 pounds is 700/540ish fro me... so it will give you an idea... With that said though, my car is heavy and setup with suspension. Hooks good for what it is... BBG is your friend. So is getting heat in them.
At that power with 17 PSI (in the tires) the car WILL spin 4th the first hit, then stick it every time. I have to feather 2nd up top just a tad, then she hooks solid. WITH 11 THEY HOOK. EVERY TIME.
