ls vtec turbo questions?
I am going to be running a ls vtec turbo most likely since my b16 bottom end blew the rings and was wondering how good would this setup be with a stock internals? I would really like to put some rods and pistons in but i have a limited budget and kinda need the car running soon but i would like to hear how the stock bottom end would do.
also was wondering where i should run the line from for oil to the head? currently have the fitting to for the oil pressure sensor for the line to the turbo, can this port also support pressure to the head or do i need another spot? i saw some kits came with an oil filter sandwich but heard from alot of people they suck, but no explanation given.

golden eagle vtec kit it comes with everything you need including the tap for the head to block the oil passage.

Golden Eagle LS/VTEC kit for sure, and you'll be able to ditch the T-Fitting off the factory sending unit thread and run the turbo oil supply from the sandwich plate as well, eliminating the chance of having an issue of pulling threads out.
The sandwich plates they include work very well, you just need some honda-bond on the o-ring to block to ensure a leak-free seal.

If you're gonna stick with a stock bottom end for a while, I would suggest that you dont rev it too high. LS block's stock rod bolts are an achilles heel when it comes to high revving abuse. I wouldnt take it past 7500 or 8k.

yeah thats what ive been reading....could i just switch them out with arp studs? But i just found a built b16 block kinda local that is fully built, its has an eagle crank and somone replied and said it was a sketchy crank? whats so bad about them? But i also bet he is asking alot and i wont have the money for it unfortunately unless i sell my quad or something.
