ls vtec turbo head and piston combo question
B18B1 fully balanced bottom
shot peened ls rods
ACL bearings
PISTONS: 81.5mm, 8.8:1? or 9.1:1?????
HEAD: GSR head, or B16 head, CTR head?
full itr valvetrain and ITR cams
Skunk2 IM
gsr transmission
Tial 38mm Wastegate
Turbonetics 50trim turbo t3/t4
log manifold with side mount for wastegate (not where all comes together....)
leaning toward wiseco 8.8:1 although it seems there will be a little turbo lag. I like the power , but i dont know what pistons would be best for this setup. please advise from experience thank you!
HP GOAL: 350HP easy 400 if i want to uptune.....
will tune on HondataS200 W P28ECU socketed with EEPROM chip

You will never tell the difference in the compression ratio from the seat of the car.Any of those heads will be fine for your goals.Turbo lag won't be an issue with that turbo anywhere around 9:1.Don't overthink it,just get it together.

did a 2nd gear pull yesterday in a civic with 8.8:1 pistons, almost same setup with eagle rods and wisecos on gsr head. Pulled super hard, but a lil lag, only runnin basemap though.....

I doubt it was the compression ratio.There's a lot of things that effect power delivery more than a small change in compression ratio.
