Default LS/Vtec Turbo

I have a stock B18a1 and i had just ran into a 95 GSR head with stock cams.I want to LS/Vtec turbo, but on a stock bottom end, u guys think it will be safe to run 7lbs of boost?

If tuned properly it could handle 300+whp. On an fmu.....

just be careful revving that sucker with the stock rod bolts

Good point, just get some arp rod bolts and shot peen the rods.

If your gonna shot peen em you might as well by aftermarket rods like eagles or something else fairly cheap

I use to run 10 psi on stock ls/vtec all day with no worries and rev to 8500.

thanks for the help guys, i have now decided to all motor LSvtec, i think fast all motors are cooler than boost, but thats an opion, dont hate lol.

Talk to TBone if u want a fast all motor car. He knows his **** about all motor. He is CT also.

DB **** it just boost it and do ls vtec, take and put in andrews b16 pistons while your at it , we need another show like the b18a

in my street car I have b16 pistons and it brings the com up to 11.3
U cant run high boost though
