LS turbo's...whats your oil pressure points??
I'd post this in the mega thread but I know it'll get lost and I'm pretty sure others are curious as well.
whats everyone else's oil pressure points??
mine so far from what I can tell are:
cold start idle: 80psi
cold start driving: ~60psi
warm idle: 45-50psi
warm driving: 60psi
warm boost: 65psi
warm start idle (eek): 25psi or 40psi
that's what really has me going is the warm start idling is that it dips down to mid 20's to once, high teens.
though at the same time, my idle rpm was around 500rpm lol.
I'm just hoping other people chime in with these numbers so we can start to use oil pressure as a bases for how hurt our engines "might" be.

thats all good. your oil pressure only needs to be 10 psi for every 1k rpms to avoid damage. 20-25 is good for a 500 rpm idle lol....and btw thats probobly 750....theres no 500 on most honda tachs....it goes 0 - 750 - 1000 - and so forth.

ah ok. well, I was taking the pressure readings with my autometer tach from my mustang which I had temp wired in to index my stock tach so I could see how much my stock tach is off...which it's pretty accurate actually.
I just made notches in the cover plastic for the few rpm points I want which dont show on the stock tach....
but yeah, it has an aweful low idle which I think it probably due to a bad vacuum hose since some have around 200k on them lol.
