Default LS turbo project completed(56K warning)

I'm going to make a long story short. I have a 00 civic SI with a fully built 2.0L GSR motor with an LS crank. We blew the rings on #4 piston racing one night. I decided to take the engine out of my daily driver and put it into a hatch or crx and take it racing on the weekends. I picked up a 93 B18A1 with 90,xxxmiles on it from U wrenk it. I decided to rebuild it to stock using all factory honda part to get the experience of rebuilting my first engine. I replace the water pump, timing belt, bearings, rings, and every gasket I could get my hands on. The head and the block was sent out to abacus to make sure everything was staight and get the block honed, and file fit the rings. I went ahead and painted the engine for fun. My setup: arp head studs, ard rod bolts, garrett T3/T4 57trim 60/63 with stage III wheel, HKS SSQV, AEM C2DI, honda 01 CBR 954 coil sticks(I converted my ignition to distributorless system) 38mm tial wastegate, apexi boost soleniod(EMS controls boost), SFP manifold, AEM fuel rail, B&M fuel pressure regulator, AEM uego single channel wideband O2 sensor, precision 880cc injectors, AEM EMS 1010, 00 SI tranny, clutch masters stage III clutch, type R flywheel, 3" downpipe with 3" race ready, greddy evo 2 catback exhaust, and a custom intercooler. I know some people are going to say the injectors are too big. I dont think so. I'm using a boost comp'ed map on my EMS and I turned the fuel pressure down so my injector duty cycle wouldn't be too small and affect the drivability of the car. I have the car idling at 900rpms and in the process of breaking it in(I'm doing a hard breakin). So far the car sounds and drives great. I have an appointment on thursday to get dyno tuned. I'm going to be doing all the tuning myself. My goal is 300whp. I will post up the dyno on thursday when I'm done and post some more pics of the car.

painted black

the block with the factory pistons. I cleaned the up

the finished engine. red valve cover,black head,red block,black tranny

another shot of the engine

I would like to give big thanks to jay and matt at next level performance. Without there help this wouldnt be possible. I'd also like to thank abacus racing for doing all the machine work.

Hey "D";
This is Jose. Everything looks good brother. Good job on getting it done. Let me know what the HP output is after the dyno. Later.

I used stock pistons because I was on a budget and I already have a engine thats fully built. I just want a realiable daily driver. With the other engine in the car it was just too much of an headache.

I want to give terry at street motorsports made props for hooking me up on the dyno. I tuned the car myself(my first one). final numbers are 310.9whp 274.3wtq @20psi . I will post my dyno sheet as soon as I can get my hands on a scanner. I'm going to import vs domestic this weekend to see what she'll do on the track. I'll post my times when I get that too. If you guys need any parts, dyno time or dyno tuning give terry and the guys at street motorsports a call. I'm sure you'll be leaving there happy. Dont forget to check http://www.streetmotorsports.com and http://www.boosfed.net ask for terry aka boostfed
